Default What geographical control do I have on Adsense?

Hello all,

Today UK, tomorrow the World!

I've been an AdWords user for some time, but have never ventured into the Adsense side.

However, I'm now planning a new website, which unlike my existing shop site will be aimed at providing useful information to guitarists and creating revenue in 2 ways:
1) Directing UK-based users to relevant items in my own UK shop
2) Getting Adsense income from the rest of the world!

What I don't want to do is to advertise other people's guitar stores to UK users because I want them to buy from me!

So, can you help me?
- Does this sound like a good plan?
- How can I acheive the regionalization?
- Can I turn off Adsense for UK users but have the Ads active, content-focused and regionalised for the rest of the world?
- Can I turn of my own 'regular' links for non-UK users?
- Any other thoughts/suggestions?

As this will be a largely static site I would like to acheive all of this with plain html if possible, to keep it simple.

Thanks in anticipation - it's gonna be fun!

Yes, is the answer that I have for all of your answers...Although, I am tired tonight, so I am not going to attempt to answer any of them for you.... Basically, you can use Googles competitive ad filter to filter out your competitors ads....Also, you can use IP addresses to filter who gets served ads(like everyone else but those living in the UK) so that you can serve your own ads to those that are living in your demographic.
