It doesn't look like this nominations are going better as last time. In fact, I'm really dissapointed by the lack of interest
Seems like the most new members are not very social...too bad

Yes it is
IWT was my first "foreign" forum where I signed up and I had a lot of nice conversations here with the "old" members...
But frankly, I don't see much new members joining AND staying around...

Neither do I...Hopefully I can get this forum turned around again. It'll take some work, and a lot of people are going to hate me...But that's okay, I am going to try.

Fortunately we still have a sound base of good members, albeit small at the moment, but with the commitment I beleive Jumpen is gonna give to this and our support the forum will be great again.

Like Midlandi I see a hard core of members. There's some that are sadly missing form the time I joined over a year ago. I used to log in each day and sometimes up to 6 pages of unread posts, now I see only 2. Let's buid this back up again.

Back to nominations, over the year for me it's OWG, unfortunately I haven't seen any posts from him lately.

I've been actively member of this forum from last 3/4 months though i signed up here long ago. In my experience, most of the new guys are here for few days, flooding with posts or replies and the lost in the dark.

Only a few people are here who are regularly contributing.

What's missing in my opinion is the comradery that used to be..I think it got lost when we loosened up on the rules, and tons of malintended users started flooding the forum with useless advertisements...There has also been lately an increased amount of introduction posters.....

For those of you that don't know, it is great to say hello to new members, but you should limit that to 2 or 3 introductions per day. If your posts consist of 80 or 90% introduction forum posts, it really makes you, and the forum, look bad.

You're completely right on this. I only say hello when the new poster tried to make "something interesting" of his introduction post...
Just telling : I'm new here...(and then only talk about his website or new directory) doesn't impress me much

The post doesn't have to be long...but need to be "personal" !
