Adsense to open in a new window

How do I make the adsense Ads to open up in a new window instead of the currrent site window. Becuase users coming to my site are gone by clicking on the Ad, also is it legal to do that?

As far as I know, you aren't allowed to do that....I'm sure that there is a way to do it using JS, but I don't think it will be easy, or inline with the rules of Google Adsense.

If you edit the code like using javascript I think you account nearly banned..Its against TOS..

If you are saying Newwindow like popup window, then it is not legal. You can get banned for that.

On the adsense script, there's no way to open in a new window and there is no permission also to manipulate the script.

You shouldnt be worried about that, as you get paid for it!
Even otherwise, you wont be getting more than 5% CTR, which means 95% of your users doesnt go out! If that percentage is more than 5, you must be really happy!

you can set it using ads search... but not really when it comes to content....
