Dear all,
Thank you so much for the valuable suggestions on SEO and site reviews here. Now my site's PR http://www.sharewaredown.comhas changes from 0 to 3.

Unfortunately, according to the google analytics, the traffic is only about 10 visits every day which is quite low. I thought the high PR will attract more traffic, but now it seems it is not that case.

Any tips to solve this? Thanks again.

Where is the website? Your hosting directory just explored .... huh!

Congrats on the PR upgrade...However, it seems as though you, like many misinformed webmasters, have put too much value into PR. You can have a PR5 and still not rank well for all of the keywords you would like. Or any of them for that matter.

Now that you have seen the light, and understand that PR doesn't effect the amount of traffic you receive from Google, you should start concentrating your efforts on techniques that will increase your traffic. The most important thing to look after is your position in the search engines, ignore PR altogether. You will be better off if you do.

If you have the opportunity to choose between a site that is irrelevant to your site with a PR of 5, or a relevant site with a PR0, I would suggest you take the PR0 site, it will help more with ranking.

I am still waiting for a PR update as well but since reading many of the posts and information here i have been concentrating on getting the content correct and getting the keywords into it so that its seen in searches.

So far i am getting referrals from google yahoo and windows live and msn although they are more for the specific searches than the main keywords i am interested in but i can only hope to rise in those as well with the new members joining and subsequently posting afterwards.

Today i have made 6 new members. (REAL members not spam bots).
