oh dang after reading that article i was sort of attempting to "stuff" on my webpages. not trying to be under-handed or anything really

If that is so..why every 1 really is concerned about seo..n ok if that is your own site for which u r optimizing, u really need not check but if u r working at some place and cheking rankings as a part of ur duty, then what u say....what reason we should tell our managers for not being in top ten results...

well if ur still talkin about that website in ur signiture, tell ur manager to read the content on there, as it makes no sense what so ever !

So whoever has put the content on there needs to sort it out, as ive told you about 3 times, you can rank check, link chech, pr check all you like if your content is rubbish, then you are going to get no where simple as that !

3) do off-page seo
4) build backlinks as many as you can or buy them

try to have a fresh content and try to submit on directory submission, social bookmarking and forums(lots of them)..
