Default iwebtool idea

Had this idea ages ago.
There should be a section of this site that has the 20-30 best threads & responses of all time.

To avoid spam, have the public rate the post, then the site administrator should have the final decision whether to include the thread.
Some information on here is invaluable and should be available all the time.

Also, whats is iwebtools largest ever thread, by comments and views?

Cheers

I think its a great idea too.
As far as i can see the most populated thread is http://talk.iwebtool.com/thread11197.html
Though that should win no prizes as its just a "fun" thread.

As far as the most viewed thread goes, it's http://talk.iwebtool.com/thread7421.html. More of our search engine traffic comes to that thread than any other.

I am talking threads and posts with good information that attracts alot of attention from users.
I think this will also help iwebtool to grow faster from indexes of better threads in google.

My best ever thread on iwebtool is:
http://talk.iwebtool.com/thread4230.html

Hi jumpenjuhosaphat i can't search or find any details of views on the thread that you suggested. Almost as if this post has been deleted off the forum.
http://talk.iwebtool.com/thread7421.html
I am using the search function at the top of the page. Do threads drop out of the search once they have been closed?

How many views did this thread actually receive?

I just turned off my ClearType in ie7. LOL

Cheers!

I will do a little more research and let you all know what i think the best thread on iwebtool is.

Yeah great idea, unfortunatly the biggest problem is the user though generally as you say the answers for most questions can be found very easysimpley by searching but people seem to find it easyer to post a question and be given the answer instead of finding it themselves.

The amount of times I have seen somebody post a question on a forum and the guy 3 posts below just asked the exact same question and it had been answered just baffles me. Or when there is a sticky thread with the info in but somebody makes a post asking exactly what the sticky post covers.

For those of us who do look before asking a great idea though.
