Well this is basically what i have at the moment.

3 sites

1. www.anacronismo.net PR1

This is a site for my own dogs and has been running since May 2007 it has 47 backlinks and gets very little traffic. This is not really a problem because it gets seen on page 1 position 7 for the keywords Neapolitan Mastiff Ireland and position 22 + 23 for Neapolitan Mastiff UK Though i would of course like to be getting seen top in both these areas. But i need to update this site and get more info on it and hopefully more traffic.

The main aim though of this site is for people in Ireland and the Uk to see my presence to enable me to sell pups when i have any. Though this will not be until the new year.

2. www.allevamentopatrizioitalia.com PR 0

This a site i made for an italian breeder and really serves the same purpose of my own but for him worldwide but he has a famous name and old site already established that forwards on to this new one i have made.

This site has been running since about July.

3. www.undergroundmastino.com PR 0

This is a Neapolitan mastiff information site and forum for members to share info etc etc

It gets seen 4th result for Mastino but 57th for Mastino Napoletano and not in the first 100 for Neapolitan Mastiff.

result 7 for neapolitan mastiff forum
result 2 for mastino napoletano forum
result 8 for mastino forum
result 26 + 27 for neapolitan mastiff photo
result 3 + 4 for mastino napoletano photo
result 4 for mastino photo

Now i have about 400 backlinks and quite a few are coming from PR3 and 4 sites and i hope to have 1 PR5 sorted within a few weeks

A friend of mine has placed the link in the footer of some PR3 and 4 Neapolitan Mastiff sites as well as some other sites he has with similar ranking.

It is always written as www.undergroundmastino.com or as the words Underground Mastino with the link in the words.

From reading 1 article by sticky i am guessing that this is the reason i get such good results from mastino keyword searches but not mastino napoletano.

I had placed the links to each site in the footers of the others so that each is linking to the other 2

Now i have changed this to read
Neapolitan mastiff Uk for the anacronismo site
Mastino napoletano for the allevamentopatrizioitalia site
Neapolitan Mastiff for Underground mastino.

I have also spent a small amount on Google adwords but TBH as they are all basically so specialist and not so many peopel are interested in this subject i do not really want to spend any more money on it and i doubt that google adwords will make much if anything.

Any advice will be greatly welcomed.

Although i would like to have a good PR i am more interested in getting good results for each of the keywords for site 1 and 3 especially 3.

Just to add

site 3 gets between 130 and 200 unique visits a day

and between 1200 and 2000 hits

these figures can sometimes be higher moreso on weekdays as many are members viewing from work.

weekends are the quietest times


I have interesting content and much much more still to add

I also added a chat room for those who wish to chat from work etc

it seems like you know how to bring traffic to your site
continue doing what you were doing ....

Also
- find relevant forum, or classifieds sites (craigslist) to announce your sites

- find more links through submitting to directories,
creating squidoo pages, find similar sites to exchange links with

that should keep you busy for some time

Thanks thats what i have been doing so far and posting on relevant forums etc.

Its just getting the time to get everything done. Though some have also added the link to signatures on other dog sites which helps alot.

Leaves me more time to add the pics and videos i have onto the site

The one way links through directories take the time.

There are some excellent lists out there :

Simply work your way through the ones above, you will then see the results in a few months.

To me it sounds like your doing a good a job, and with more back links (which you can get through the one way linking directories above) you will improve this I am sure.
