![]() | YPN invites are a bunch of bull. The only way to get in the Yahoo Publisher Network is to send in an application at http://publisher.yahoo.com/. I even contacted Yahoo asking about the invites and they said that the only way to get in the beta is to send in an application. It takes them about a month to respond if they accept your application, but it's worth it ![]() |

![]() | I have heard that it pays like 4 times better than adsense!? If I was a US citizen I would definately apply. The only thing which adsense had over YPN is the little gifts they send out to big earners and spenders |

I think that's only temporary for a few months... they'll pay a lot more to attract advertisers, then bam, lower. Just to switch people from adsense.

![]() | Yeah you have a great point spider. I am gathering that is what adsense did as well, but they were really one of the first there. You wouldn't really need a lot of motivation if people are getting paid huge rates. Once it goes worldwide I expect the rates to drop |

![]() | Have already applied about a week ago to the Yahoo Publisher Network and am still waiting their approval. I wondered how long it would take for them to approve of our site, or send us an email one way or the other. Now I see that someone has posted above that we need to allow a month. I had tried earlier to apply on the Publisher link that I found while clicking on someone else's ad, they did not even have a registration link to click on. I had to search for hours to find the link to apply that was a working form to apply to the Yahoo Ad Sense. |

![]() | Yea, I'm in YPN. The ads aren't very targeted, but over the past 2 months I've actually seen the ads gradually become more and more targeted (they are probably gaining more advertisers). The support is pretty good and they seem to actually care about their publishers unlike Google which has a reputation for banning publishers for very small mistakes. I commonly earn $1.50+ per click. |

![]() | What kind of sites do you think Yahoo would approve of, and what kinds of sites would they not approve of? What kind of sites do you think would be good to start making, if one did of course get approved of Yahoo? Do they like health sites that would be informational? |

| Member | I think they are looking for sites with good traffic. I applied with MadBum.com, I'll see if I get in.
