I was VERY pleased to see today I have made number 1 on MSN for the search Webmaster Forums" for TriPHP

Great news and its a start as you say, no MSN dont send much traffic even when your number 1 for a major search term but hey it means your going in the right direcrtion.

Its the norm really to do really well in MSN and then as time goes by you find you will do better in Google and Yahoo but will drop off in MSN eventually.

I've found that to be true too...But in this case, http://forums.triphp.com have been around for nearly a year, and MSN usually pushes new websites to the top...So this is definitely a step in the right direction. Google will definitely be a challenge, most webmaster forum owners are SEO's, and are usually pretty good at it, and most of them concentrate solely on Google....So you have a challange out in front of you with Google.
