just out of my own curiosity, how many of you have already been nabbed by facebook and have opened a profile?

it's weird because it competely sucked me in. I got an email one day saying someone added me as a friend, and I was like "wtf?"

So I clicked the link, and I guess I had signed up a long time ago and never did anything with it, but I had a friend request so I accepted.

Slowly over time, more people started to find and message me, and it just snowballed. I didn't even want a facebook.

The thing that amuses me is people who update their status all the time. I have one friend who changes hers several times a day, with things like "Anne is having a cup of coffee", "Anne has just been in the garden and is cold", "Anne is feeling hungry and wondering what to eat"....

It's as bad as people who are on forever posting on forums morning, noon and night

Glad to see that I am not the only nutter hooked on it. I can't stand all these extra applications like Slayers and Vampires and stupid surveys (except ones I initiate - he he) but it's a great way to 'meet' up with old school mates and childhood friends.

Yeh i was pulled into it, i don't like facebook personally though - prefer MySpace.

I don't like myspace, facebook, etc. I prefer messageboard and email to communicate with people.
