I think you can register both.

Is www.breedingpedigreedogs.com
better than
www.breeding-pedigree-dogs.com ??

In the first one, would Google still recognise "breeding", "pedigree" and "dogs" as keywords in the domain name?

Thanks in anticipation

The domain name without hyphens will worth higher when you want to sell it compared to with hyphens.

I think its depends on your domain name and your situation.
Advantage of hyphenated name:
* Search engines can distinguish your keywords better and thus return your site more prominently in search results for those keywords occurring in your domain name.

Disadvantages
* It's easy to forget the hyphens when typing a name
* Having hyphens in your domain name leads to more potential errors than when the name does not contain hyphens

I have to 2 sites with hyphens in them. They do very well in serps, but difficult for visitors to remember.

Here they are:

The only reason why I used hyphens was because I couldn't get a good domain name. Good for SEO

Using hyphen in domain is helpful from SEO point of view for getting ranking on that particular keyword in search engines. Many more facts also in consideration after developing the website.

If search engine optismisation is your primary way of attracting people to your site, then I've had a lot of luck with hyphenated domains.

both hyphens and underscores in a domain are ok but it should be limited to one or two. The more undescores or hyphens you will confuse people more and they will not get access to your site because of this.
