I use many browsers, especially to test my own websites and it is sometimes difficult to get feedback from anyone using something other than Microsoft Internet Explorer. Thats why I use Safari here and post that in my first line to let you know what system/browser I used when visiting your site. If you feel it is not relevant to your site, I'll not argue with you - it is what I used.

I went ahead and checked your site with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla, and Netscape and it still looks like a "forum". As a matter of fact the first line of text I see when I click on the link you posted says-

"Welcome to Xtreme iTalk! It appears that you have just discovered one of the internets great forums!"

My original post was because I did not see any design elements (created by you) to critique. Your forum is designed by Invision Power Services and Modified and enhanced by Ghost @ IBPForumSkins.com (according to your source code).

Ah I see.

What I don't see is how it's morally wrong to post it for review here. I'm not asking for the design, but the community as a whole.

Hi there,

Even though your forum is generically made through script generator, I think the design is mint, and look very sleek and professional.

Although, I agree with Taylor Hewitt that the main feature of a forum should be the community, sorry although I don't have time at the minute to check through a forum I am a bit busy at the moment. Although I will check back when I get time.

Great point made by Wes though, it is an important concept that your should test your site on a variety of browsers/operating systems/etc. It helps you in the long run.

Yes I use Invision Board, but there's nothing wrong with that. Not everybody can code their own fully featured forum. This forum is vBulletin. Anyway the skin on the otherhand was paid for with money so it's not like that was free or "script generated" or anything.
