Question google listing question

Hi,

I have some troubles concerning my new website www.leobet.com . This website exists since June 2007 and got a pr3 after the last update. Although pr3 is ok and the page has quite a lot backlinks, it is listed very badly at google. If I search for the domain itself, I get the message "Did you mean...", but this website google suggests is a pr1 website with nearly no backlinks. Another question I have is concerning the languages. For this website I tried to offer various languages with different folders like http://www.leobet.com/tr/index.htm instead of using subdomains. In order to try out what works better, I use a unique domain for the croatian market (www.sportska-kladionica.com). So it would be fine if you could tell me what you think is the best way to implement languages - using folders, subdomains or unique domains (keeping in mind that it is not possible to promote each website the same way like you promote a single domain for all languages).

thanks in advantage for your suggestions
Thomas

may sound like a silly point, but have you actually submitted the site to google?

You cant do anything "Did You Mean" thing. I think its automated at Google. I have it on one of my sites. I think it would go away once your site gets little higher PR.
I have no experience on language thing, like to hear other's opinion.

There really should be no need to 'submit' to Google... Google will soon find you once you get a few backlinks.

I just tried searching for your domain and got the 'did you mean...' message.
I think this is nothing to do with how good your site is but merely that "Leibet" is a very common word, so G thinks you've mistyped it - think of 'do you mean..' as a spellchecker.
I wouldn't worry about it - concentrate on search terms that you think your users will use. If someone's genuinely searching for your url they will still see it at the top of the list.

Hi,

thank you for your suggestions! I'm not really concerned for users who search the domain with google, but I think that this "did you mean" thing shows that another domain is better rated than mine. What concerns me most, and what I simply do not understand is that at google.de or .at it suggests the domain "leopet.com" which is a pr1 domain with hardly any backlinks. So what I can't get is why google suggests a domain which is much worse than mine. First I thought that it will go away once I have a pr, but now I have pr3 and the website is online since severall month, so I can't get why the other domain is better ranked than mine. For sure it's not interesting because no one searches for the domain, but I think if I get this message by searching the domain, also concerning the key words this will not be a good sign...
