Hi,

You may have received a private message from a member of the forum informing you about a special promotion for Christmas. The private message asks you to send some funds to a PayPal account.

I would like to say that THIS IS NOT REAL. I have taken necessary action about this. Meanwhile ensure you do not make any payments. If you have, I would suggest you claim your money back from PayPal (create a dispute).

Luke, I removed the name of the accused from your post, I hope you don't mind, but it can cause you some trouble if you announce any names.

I have removed this PM from everyones account, if you happened to read the PM, then please, disregard it. If you make any purchases from this person, please be informed that you are likely buying illegal materials.

i think the name should be mentioned in public as the spammer needs to be identified...

I received 18 PM emails from your system tonight within 9 minutes in addition to the spam email yesterday about the "special promotion for Christmas". Do you guys have a little spam problem? Can we please make it stop? I get all of my mail to my Blackberry - so it gets annoying quickly.

I have to say that it looked a little bit weird since a hotmail address was used as PayPal email and not an iwebtool.com address.

18 PM's? Wow, no...That would be a glitch in the mass PM system. I only intended to send out a single PM to each member to warn them of the offer, and not to buy into it.
