Your site advice on getting listed in Dmoz reads.........
Quote:
before you submit your website to the Open Directory Project for review, you will need to be certain it is developed with DMOZ standards in mind. You will need to go through all of your web pages to make sure that your website is elegant and professional.

This could not be further from the truth i'm afraid, Dmoz are looking for content and value to the viewer not how elegant and professional a site is.

Quote:
One of the benefits of being listed with the Open Directory Project is that your website will sooner or later appear in other search engines like Google and Yahoo.

Sorry but again this is not the case, getting listed in Google, Yahoo or any other search engine for that matter has nothing at all to do with being listed in Dmoz.

Quote:
The title and description that you submit should be carefully prepared and reviewed to make sure they accurately describe the content and the main theme of your website.

Errr wrong again, your sites title should be the 'Title' and title only! The description should not contain the sites title and should not only describe what the site does but also what the site offers, i.e FAQ's, company profile, news etc.

Quote:
you can also check on the status of the submission or the reasons for the rejection by contacting the editors for the subcategory that you selected.

Have you tried this

Adsense will only work if you have lots of traffic at your blog/website. And I don't think, you are getting it.
