Default Blog on Blogspot
I have a website on blogspot.Its been 2 month till I created it.I have several time promote it through some social bookmarking and manually send it to about 150 directory but no Backlink till now and traffic don't say.

What SE did you use to view your backlinks? Is it Google?

Try using the Yahoo to view your links and other SEO tools backlink checker..

It means that you don't have backlinks in google. Usually backlinks is updated when there is PR update.

Google don't show backlinks properly, you may use backlink watch to check your backlinks.

Check how many pages are indexed in SEs, that's more important than back links.

^hasan's right! You have to check first if your posts are indexed in Google and other SEs.. Have you tried blog directory submission?

Promote your blog by submitting it to the blog directories and update it regularly. check your backlinks in the google webmaster tools or else check in Yahoo Site Explorer.

Exactly what I would of written.

You just need to get the name out there, use the above methods and you will find success.

But, its ongoing, it never stops. Always keep looking for new directories and sites etc

write good content and build relationships with other bloggers. Write SEO friendly titles, instead of 'I totally got a link from Johnchow.com' you should write 'How to get backlinks from Popular Bloggers'

You can do directory submissions, forum posting and leave your signature for links. Link exchange w/ related sites and social bookmarkings

How about having a link exchange partners that are not related to your site?

Is it ok to have it to your site?
