Posting on forums will not bring the money directly. If you win the credibility with your suggestions, then members will definitely visit the signature and thus you may earn with your site. So just by posting you cannot win the credibility, you have to make worthful posts.

Yes you can earn money with posting on forum if you apply as forum poster as with a required quotas of posting. You can also get traffic from forum if someone click your signature and go to your site. Forum posting can also backlinks from your site.

Not really no even traffic sent to your site is pretty much useless as it is not traffic which was looking for that type of site they are just browsing around so no.

What I find sigs useful for in forums is to get link exchanges.

I think it's both - you can have a link exchange if the other party agrees with you and traffic if your sig have been hit....

Many of my backlinks are from forums. I post in an Italian Forum related to my specific site content and in a USA one the USA one also a member there added it to her signature and she had a hell of alot of posts. I also added it as did someone else to a site that is not specifically about my own site but close to it.

The problem is finding forums that are open to public view. Many i find are not and this makes it not worth posting in. Though they usually show perhaps 1 or 2 backlinks from profiles etc.

That is how i hope to do well as the 2 sites that are competing with me are closed forums and photo galleries. 1 is quite large with over 10X the members i have but many are actually not real members but "XT56MYT78" members LOL

I hope to better these 2 if i can its just a matter of time for me to get all my content added and photos inserted into the galleries.

I find i am getting better traffic the more photos i insert and that google and yahoo are crawling much more i have only seen windows live on twice 1 week apart .
