![]() | Well, they are two different search engines with separate systems and algos and naturally, they rank websites differently. |

Agreed... Very different. Most of the standards do apply to both, however sometimes yahoo will just EAT UP a site while google seems to ignore it. If your site is doing well in yahoo I would be afraid to make too many changes to try and "sell it" to google. Have you ever thought about creating another site just for google? We do this often and it works. Sometimes a simple change in domain name will have google ALL OVER a site. | |

| Hardcore Spam Killer! | Start submitting link building, use Google Sitemap, try to use Title more efficiently. On Google Toolbar tools, you have only 2 backlinks. You have entry in dmoz.org ... it will definitely help you. Anyway, how long you have been trying SEO?

![]() | I have the same problem but flipped around to where yahoo totally just ignores my site but google has it all over the place on page ones. Possibly if we compare seo techniques we could figure it out. |

![]() | I have been doing SEO for about 4 months. The problem with Yahoo is the amount of traffic it generates compared to Google. So I would prefer to be listed on Google well. Sticky that would be interesting to compare techniques. Drop me an email at ian@mortgagesinc.co.uk
