 |  Is my old domain useful?? Another dumb question from Mars - sorry.  OK, here goes... I've got an old .co.uk domain that I still own and is still live, but I don't use for anything much. This post http://talk.iwebtool.com/thread17896.htm suggests that old domains are valuable! So, what can I do with my old domain to help promote your favourite UK guitar store??

| Re: Is my old domain useful?? Do not get rid of it. Spend a few days setting it up with ads to at least pay for the server. Then when you are ready do something with it. |

| Re: Is my old domain useful?? You can still use your old domain, remember those returning visitors? They can be your new visitors when you put links in your old site to the new one.

I normally buy a domain, make a small site on it, submit it to some direcories and link it to other sites of mine, then forget all about it, for some time, 1 year is great. After 1 year then I start to develop the site I originaly bought the domain for. I love old domains! |
