Hey, I'm going to do a experiment with craigslist.

I'm going to copy a really nice expensive portraits picture from cj.com and post A ad for it on craigslist(maybe like a ansel adam) and see if I can attract some art enthusiasts from there then redirect them to the sites link.

has anyone tried this before or tried affiliate marketing art? Any ideas or suggestions?

would love ANY help possibly

I tried several times. Sometimes it gave me good results.

Can you tell me what caused a good result and also, how did you tell them to buy it on a site?

Has anyone tried this with say laptops?

You say on a classified site "Hey I got this brand new whatever, and I don't need it, i'm selling it for etc. if you're interested let me know."

Then what do you do? tell them you put it on the website for sale?

I tried to selll a laptop before. I had few leads. Just post the specifications, add some pictures, price, contact. That should do the work. If you like you can add a link to your site. I wouldn't recommend spamming though.
