What do you think about the new pr's at your site?

Strangely as soon as the new PR updated the traffic to the site has jumped considerably according to alexa.com, go check it out.

I think its terrible. I went from a 4 to a 2... still scratching my head tho, as I am still in the same position I was before, as far as the search term goes.

I being a newbie sort to all this, I think they had better check their algos!

Hmm.. that was absurd mine is vice versa I got my PR from 0-2.
And I'm glad because of it. My effort is worthy.

My PR has not be changed. I'm not sure if that good or bad....

NOOOOOOOO this can NOT be the case I mean the world and his brother are saying that PR is what gives you rankling LOL.

For those who don't know me that well, I am being sarcastic. those in the know KNOW PR is NOT what gives you your rankings, it is just a small element.

OK shall I explain why so many sites went down?

because some PR was stopped flowing, and it impacts across the web SIMPLE AS THAT.

NOTHING to do with your site necessarily, it might just be an impact thing.

My pr's all went up or stayed the same. Weird.
It's probably not over yet for those people who have dropped.

I don't really care about PR any more, I'm focusing on webstats and the number of unique and repeat visitors each month.

It is easy to get caught up in PR and back-link checking as they are easily accessible through online tools etc.
