How to get Forum Signups?

I have had over 500 visitors within 2 days on my www.iphonefreelancer.com forums but only 2 signups. How can I get more signups?

Make your "Register" button attractive. Give reasons why they should register. You will also need a lot of content on your forum before anyone will join, do this by post exchanging or pay for posts.

Its usual for new forums.
Join as many forums as you can. Put your forum link on signature and use avatar.
