Iwebtool.com PR Drop?

I have been away for awhile with work.

Just got home the other nite and noticed Iwebtool dropped to a PR4.

Does anyone have any ideas or assumptions as to why or how this hapend? i believe it was a PR6

Personally all my sites jumped higher then expected.. most from PR0 to PR5 &6
I did however notice many people complaining about there site droping .. there seems to be allot of that this update

Richard, my best guess is that Google changed the PageRank algo. Most of my sites dropped, and mainly which has site-wide outgoing links. I think that the PR leak which is caused by the outbound links become much bigger according to this new algo, which will make webmasters to remove the sponsor and similar PAID links. This is only my personal opinion, but i think i am right, we will see.

I personally think they may have also been some sort of roll-back on older sites, all the PR on my site is back to what it was 12 months ago, this includes a page that is not longer accessible to crawlers that went to 0 from 2 during the last update because of that and it's now back at 2.

I'm guess we'll see some more changes before things settle.

From waht I'm reading across the forims and blogs the drop appears to be pretty much accross the board. I've seen pages drop so far that the PR button indicates "No pagerank information available".

For those of us who have dropped we're in good (and maybe not so good) company.

yea like i mentioned above, there seems to be allot of sites dropping drasticly in pagerank.

Thats why i really dont understand why some of my sites whent from 0 to pr 5, almost makes me feel bad lol.

In curtiousy of iwebtool and because of the respect they have shown me i will be posting some sitewide links in an effort to boost the PR4. I hope everyone that calls this home does the same

Google keeps on updating the page rank every month may be your site is not doing so well or not getting that much traffic ....

This trend seems to be worldwide.
i'm from Israel and a lot of big sites have dropped unexpectedly...

on the other hand, both my sites jumped from 0 to 3.
didn't make me feel bad at all

Doesn't Google update continuously, and exports the results at a time we now know as the PR update.

PR doesn't relate to traffic.

I heard that google has reversed pagerank. From now on the lower your pagerank is the better your site ranks, if you have a high pr then your site is new and needs attention. That would explain half the comments in this post.
Just speculation at this point.
Who knows, google is probably just bored and wants to confuse everyone.

Yes i have heard that google is updated the page rank and this time its not easy to get higher page rank...
