![]() | How can you build a simple, basic, text editor that will allow users to enter content but control the styles. For instance, the editor used to create this post has the ability to set the font size, style, right align, etc. I'd like to somehow override the font size (for instance) witht the set size of the body style. I may have to strip the style elements out of the text, but was wondering if there is a better way. What type of editor are these social websites using to allow users to add content? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Editors like that are typically written using javascript. You can find them free on the internet. I have used simple editor, it works pretty good. As far as building one, I would just use a freebie, even a simple text editor can be complex and take a long time to build. |
