i want to get more traffic into my forum, what should i need to do?

maybe you could advertise in other forums.Also use google adwords.It rally helps.One more thing to do is post the link to your site in your signature or bring it up on a conversation.

Be member in forums, put site link on sig.

Run a contest offering good prize for something. Advertise about that on other forums.

I can advice you one thing not as a link submitter but as a friend you may submit your link to directories.

forum is a great place to meet a lot of people online. you can get traffic through promoting it through forum also with your signature. another is through social bookmarking and social community site.

You can get traffic by promoting it by link exchange, link buying, directory submission,sign in forums,posting in forum...

If you desperately need traffic, announce a competition with good prize and post the news in different forums.

Competition may be like raffle draw, posting 50 posts etc.

First think is to increase contents of your website so that visitors have stuff to discuss.
You can do that by joining a forum post exchange group where other forum owners come to help you populate your forum in exchange for you doing the same for them.

Well my forum, www.bzimage.org gets a decent amount of traffic! I just slowly been building up links and it comes by itself now! PR6 to!

Advertise your forum on a lot of different forums, even if it doesn't relate to your site

It will still get someone who could be interested in your forum.
