Default Review my wife's art website

My wife recently started selling alot of her art through word of mouth so I decided to have a website built for her. Below is the site:

http://www.stateofsanity.net

It's only been up about 2 weeks now. The site is done as far as all the sub-pages I am just trying to decide how I am going to turn the main page into a more of a informitive type page with constant updating content on art. I don't know anything about designing or building websites so I am still learning Dreamweaver to modify pieces I need to.

Let me know what you all think or any advice please.

Very nice.
I just discovered one little navigation-error. When you click on one painting to see it with more detail...you can not access(use) the top navigation button to go back to the gallery. The link on the bottom of the page works well.
I know, just a little error... but I thought I better mention it.

Success with the site AND the paintings !

The intial design was that way knowingly. I plan on changing it once I get use to dreamweaver and figure out how to.

The black and grey plain background is a great idea, the focus is then purley on the pictures.

Nice website ... I've seen all the paintings, I must say your wife is great artist.

Website looks fine, you can make top nav little bit larger. You may use paypal to sell paintings online.

BTW, do u ship paintings to UK? :-)

That's a really good looking site, the design of the site is nice and simple and provides a great showcase for the artwork, which is really unique.

I plan on adding a paypal option eventually, for my first phase I wanted to get the site up and running. I am still learning Dreamweaver, META Tags, SEO, submitting to directories, and a ton of other stuff I didn't know existed until AFTER I started down the website path.

And yes, I will ship to the U.K. if you are interested, shipping will just be additional to the price on the site.

Then you maybe better mention that on the site...
Right now I saw on the bottom of each page/painting the price followed by "including shipping". You better replace that with "including shipping in..."
Just to avoid discussions

I will work on that, I figured the main gallery page text copied below would of covered it. Thanks.

Thank you for visiting my gallery, all of the paintings listed below are original works that I have painted over the years. You will find pricing on each original below, if you are interested in a painting, please contact me at questions@stateofsanity.net or click on the contact tab and fill out the information requested. All prices include packing and shipping for US customers.

I will add something relating to international shipping in the above tonight.

You could use PayPal or a free php shopping basket for people to buy the paintings online.

And your wife is a great artist.
