Default Have I gone in the right direction

Just uploaded my site. http://www.westcoastvinylsigns.com/ still need to finish some pages and update some pages but just wanted to see if im going in the right direction. Also let me know if you would feel more comfortable purchasing a sign without knowing what type of sign you need after visiting my site

Thanks in advance

Hi sign guy, your site looks great. Put some pics on the front page though.
People have become soo lazy and with that much text on your front page you may miss your target audience. Put some pics of signs and maybe just a few paragraphs, short blurb or images that really show what you do.

The site is quite articulate...It actually is very impressive. I have to say that the way that you present yourself is a very good sales point....I think that you have indeed gone in the right direction....There are a few grammatical errors on you site, but nothing major. What are you doing to optimize your site for search engines? Also, what are you doing locally to attract business? I have one suggestion that has made me a bit of money, I would be glad to share. PM me for the suggestion, I won't openly advertise it.

I think you should limit the used font sizes. The front page is quite easy to read but when i navigate for instance to the signs page i can hardly read the text. Beside the font size if i were you i would take care with the colours. The red doesn't look not very well balanced with the blue in my opinion. In the footer you link the /index.php URL instead of the domain as home navigation link.
I think placing custom title tags for your pages would help to boost the organic searching traffic.
Good luck!

I really like that design buddy. Although I agree with ev8321, you need some pictures of your products will help break up the text.

Keep it up

Looks impressive to me ... as everyone said - you need more images.

If you don't have text for the right column, you can put adsense adverts and have some penny from that.

I've noticed you have not put any meta description or meta keywords ... that's the SOUL for SEO. You are just killing your SEO!!!

I agree with everyone else, you need more product images and perhaps some images of the inside of the store. Keep up the good work!

Here is what I am after...I would like some signs made that resemble a barn style shed....Like my avatar....They should be simple, say "Shed-n-Deck" with my phone number, and website....Maybe my email....I need these to have metal frames that I can push into my clients yard...I have some flyers that I have printed that I think are pretty eye catching, and I think that having a shed shaped sign would do wonders....Could you PM me a quote?

Hey jump,

That would be no problem, You are probably looking for some inexpensive curagated plastic signs with step frames for the grass. they come in different sizes, most popular would be 18" x 24". If you have a barn clipart image or logo send it to me on my request a quote page on the right there is a upload image link. Then fill out the quote form with your info you want on the signs phone # website etc.. I will take it and design the layout for you to proof.
Thanks

I like your design I'll make just one suggestion: resize the pictures using some graphic editor, avoid using width="px less than the actual size of the image" because you are lowering the quality of the image...

Well I am using your suggestions but I am a little confused on the image quality thing. I use adobe go live which is the only one I know how to use. If anyone would like to take a look at my index.php file and have a shot at it that would be great. I could send you the original images. here is what it looks like right now

Your site is quite good for me and you need some improvement in your colour scheme, make it lighter, adding banner that related to your site , the colour of the font and additional features.
