How To get Forum traffic?

Hello I just opened this forum/marketplace called http://www.conversionvault.com it allows people to trade internet currencies like paypal, egold, moneybookers, etc......so any way I know how to promote blofs and that kind of stuff but what about a forum?

Lol I did and I got banned because they considered it spam and I got a warning four times for the same thing

Put it in ur sig, do meta tags. Post it up on here, maybe put a few bucks into advertising(I dont but it works)

maybe announce some contest? An attractive one!

also, keep submitting your forum in relevant directories with carefully chosen keywords and various title names.

Don't just use the one forum. Register with as many as possible and promoted wisely.

don't just announce your site in ur first post ... post or comment few posts and then announce, otherwise there is high risk to be banned.

paying for advertising is no big deal but what kind of advertising for a forum I obviously do not want to pay a huge cpc

Open a myspace account - I only have 41 friends and when I write a post I get around 90 page views. All the people there are helpful. I just added a forum to my site so this subject really interest me.

Got the same result, I got some of the traffic from forums.
Try using Digg and Reddit those are good social bookmarking site.
