Default AdSense code revealed

I don't like the fact that AdSense code is openely revealed to the public when you access someone's personal profile. I know it isn't the most sensitive information that someone can access, although if someone had a personal despute they could breach their AdSense code and possibly click bomb their adverts without them even knowing.

I am not exactly the eldest member within this community although I think this would be a good thing for you to make private.

I dont think it matters so much now, i got clicked bombed several months ago..

I logged in to my account one afternoon and noticed that i have over 300 clicks on one domain, none of which generated any revenue.

I contacted google and they said there were alot of clicks from a couple ip and they were treated as fraud clicks (which is why no revenue was given for them)

A far as i am aware, they check the suspect clicks/ip's to the ip's thats logged in the adsense/client area and if they were to match they would terminate the account with out a chance in hell of getting it back.
If not then they are just treated as fraudulent clicks.

Atleast its how it seems.

But it does matter. People could click bomb your AdSense without you knowing. Well, all I can do is warn people. But wait until some nasty person finds out this flaw on iWEBTOOL and it will only be a matter of time until people start getting upset here.

My AdSense setting won't be up here until this flaw is fixed anyway. Thanks for the reply, and staff member who can reply?

click bombing is when someone repeatedly clicks on your adverts in an attempt to get your account closed.

is it against the rules to browse your own website and click on relevant ads that you're interested in?
