I'd appreciate some feedback on the clarity of concept and usability of this site.

The welcome page is in Spanish by default, but you can switch it to English to review it (top right corner).

Is the purpose of the site clear right from the home page?
Is the sign up page easy to fill out?
Although most posts ("view recent posts" or "browse") are in Spanish, are they easy to view and navigate?

As you will see, the design has been kept as simple as possible. The purpose of the site is that users find it easy to find what they are looking for as well as post their trips and requests.

Definitely, there is a short and clear statement on what the website is about on the homepage. You could make that slightly larger in text.

Is the sign up page easy to fill out?
Not quite, the forms and textboxes should be seperated using different table colours. If you need any examples, let me know.

Yes, very clear. You can improve it however by adding different variety of colours in the titles and descriptions.

just being constructive not mean. I use Apple/Safari

front page very simple and clean - maybe some light or faint graphics below the text could help make the website concept crystal clear.

I know it probably is too involved but the "fill in the" data page looks like every other data page and doesn't quite match the graphic you show.

I personally think it was very easy to understand the purpose the second I went on the home page.

It sure is.

Not really. I think you should add some sort of translation tool for English speaking natives.

I do have a suggestion however and agree with kenni and say that you should consider colour and graphical changes.
