Well i found something very interesting phenomena and couldn't find out so far how is it possible..

In nutshell for searching at google for the keyphrase A the displayed result link is different than when i search for keyphrase B relating one given webpage.

How is it possible?

That is weird, I cant say I have noticed it before.
Could it be a redirect in place at the given url??

Midlandi, i have checked the site with a cloaking checker and there is a minimal difference in the content length displayed for googlebot. I will get home in some hours and will activate my user agent switcher FF extension to mask as googlebot and check the site again.

Mit, i would gladly share the URL but since i know the guy who owns the site i don't want him to know about my investigation, which could be found out very easy from his site statistic.

Two separate links or results returned from a different Google datacenters?

Chart, i checked the results for keyphrase A and B in succession with a multi dc checker and every datacenter shows the same different links.

Midlandi, i checked the site masking myself as googlebot but was nothing strange happened so that was not the cause.

I sent a private message to Chart Music and he confirmed my best guess. The mentioned site has many image backlinks using alt tags of course. It seems that

I have never heard about it but it exists according to this.

Can't find the same thing happening for other sites. Must be something quite specific.

Note that imagine with the alt text, links to the page itself.
