would you recommend any mass email companies?

please be honest, don't recommend a company you work for..

I would like to send one advertisement email to a huge number of people in a specific country.

Is there a legal way to acquire legally a list of emails to which I can send my mail?

is there a company you know which is trustworthy that can send my mail to its opt-in people? yahoogroups? google-groups? facebook?

is there anyway to get a 3rd party totally independent company to monitor the number of emails sent?

There are simply too many offers .... and I have no idea whatsoever who should be trusted.

I can recommend a company in the US http://www.targetpointmedia.com. The link to their e-mail page is: http://www.targetpointmedia.com/emailmarketing.html.

I'm not sure if they have lists outside of the US - give them a call and tell them what you are looking for - they're pretty helpful. Hope this helps.

sending of email to many companies is spamming. but why not try doing it in a right way, there is an seo techniques that would be helpful like submitting your promotion to free classified ads, or promote it through forums. But if you want a mass email campaign, you can try using the social media site like myspace, tagged, facebook , xanga, hi5 and site with group of people like yahoo groups or msn groups.

yes...that's the right way... because sending 1 by 1 in every email can cost a lot of effort and you're not sure if your messages can read or ignore by the companies... sending your promotion in directories is advisable.. it may also view with the other visitor about your site, aside to your targeted visitors...

Email campaign is a proven method of keeping connected to your customers, reminding them about the service you are offering.
You can buy a email list, but best option would be build your own. It may take time to build, but its legit and works better.

where can you find a trustworthy company that would sell you a list of valid emails?

I contacted both comapnies.

they do look like professionals. yet I could not find on their sites the cost of the service I am looking for (that they send my email to their users). I believe all I found on both of their sites are simply offers to send mail on your behalf to your own users
