We are a new bidding directory called http://www.Goostle.com tell me what you think i dont mind criticism.

Okay, well your goose looks like it is getting it up the b*tt by the "e"....Other than that, I really don't understand bidding directories, so I might not be the best person to ask...Maybe you could invest your time into making the site a quality site, and profit from offering a great product, as opposed to offering a product that has little or no value to the webmaster community and accepting bids from the stupidest webmasters for a product that really, as of now, has little or no value. I don't mean any offence by this, I just really don't understand the value of a bidding directory.

A bidding directory doesn't seem much different then any paid directory. The idea is to hope that someone it willing to pay for the service. Whether it's worth it or not is in the eyes of the beholder.

I dont want to be rude, but before you stick you foot in your mouth you should check every site in Rankland.com a bidding directory, and they all have inbound links. Not only that but check the sites i have in it and you'll also find out that im pushing these sites to be seen in the search. I dont see that as offering a product of no value to the webmaster comunity. If you also can tell me you have more #1 search (serp) than i do witch you cant but if you could than

, Because these are things that matter when buying links to make your website $ progress in pr, getting better traffic, and popularity. I just built goostle, and it will have the same results.

Umm, well you asked us to be honest and that you accept criticism, yet when somebody criticizes your site, you give a cocky post like this! you wont get far in this forum with that attitude.

If you criticize thats one thing , but to come say something uneducated thats a hole different thing. Im not new by any shape or form i said criticize the site not what the site does, because im fully aware of what it does. Your right in a sence that i shouldnt let forum talk rent space in my head, but i did.
My point is though we are talking about a site........... not about what what a site does or doesn't do, because ive been running directories for 4 yrs, and theres a good chance your going to loose that argument.

design has EVERYTHING to do with the power of your directory. if visitors coming to your site get bored within seconds of landing on your page simply becuase you have a shite design, then what gives them the inclination to sign up with you, so it has everything to do with the power of your directory, or should i say, the lack of power of your directory!

correct, a spider bot doesnt pick it up, but the user who is using your website does. as the saying goes, DO NOT design a website for the search engines, design a website for the USERS! there is no point having good search engine rankings if when visitors come to your site they click off because of how shockingly crap your site actually is!

f you see my critism as giving you zero, then you shouldnt think about asking for reviews because your only going to get honest reviews around here. im not going to lie to you and say your site is fantastic, because frankly, it isnt! ive been desigining websites for over 10 years, so beleive me, i do know what im talking about, so if you dont like the responses you get around here, this maybe isnt the place for you!

The funny thing about you is that you don't sound very educated when it comes to the internet, tell me why a bidding directory would even matter if it had a good design or not, if you want to take your foot and push it farther into your mouth, go to google and search 'bidding directory' tell me how many of the top 3 pages have no design at all, just standart template....hmmmm quite a few that because if you knew anything you would know that a directory helps your off page seo and thats what it is made to do, sometimes less design means more time put into promoting....

I understand you have a web design site so this is just a sorry way for you to try and get people to pay you to draw and color them a little picture for their website so its ok i understand now....

even more reason to make your site even better than the competition then isnt it? if they all have shite sites, why not make yours better than all the rest, and potentially even more successful?

well unfortunately it dont work like that. you get good feedback if you have a good site, if you dont have a good site then you get bad feedback. you have to accept the good with the bad when asking for peoples opinions on your websites! you wouldnt be complaining if i said it was amazing would you? didnt think so!!!
