![]() | Seo tools that claim to submit your website to 10000's of search engines are a BAD idea.. it is a known fact that google does not like websites that submit them selves and prefers finding links to them with crawlers. So using such SEO tools causes your page rank to drop so I recommend not doing so. |

![]() | because there are so many websites to be crawled, you just do them a favour by telling them yours is ready to be crawled wierd i no, but it makes sense if you think about it!

![]() | Hm, I got lost while reading this thread, from what I know, let me try to clear this up: Services that submit your sites to "thousands of search indexes" actually can hurt your listing - they slow down indexing speeds and search engines, particularly Google, are not fond of it. Just get backlinks and let Google crawl your site itself.

| Member | Aye, it doesn't hurt to keep an open-hand on linking to various related websites to your content, I'll admit submitting to thousands, is ridiculous... but the linking of pages in relation to yours never hurts. |

![]() | Search engines like sites with lots of content in them and sites that have other sites linking to them. |

| Member | No argument here. Submitting to search engines are not necessary anymore, spiders can find your site if you got links coming into it. Getting links from related sites and directories would do the trick of getting your site found. |
