Hi,

I have just wrote a new article on my blog - Directory Kit, which is 10 Steps To Follow For Ultimate SE Optimization

Some are prety obvious, but they're all the right steps to take tward your SEO. However, I'm not sure if it's the "ultimate" way of optomizing for SEs

The last , do not overdo the optimization is obviously important trick nowadays since the GG change it's algo.

there are some errors in that. clocking should be cloaking I think.

there are some things I disagree with as well.

Sitemaps are NOT an essential SEO tool a spiderable site is an essential seo tool

Using no follow is a HUGE mistake if your links are on topic, and if they are not, then why link out?

backlinks should NOT all contain your keywords, as that is not natural linking. Your link building strategy should mirror natural links in as much as you should try to get natural links to good content etc, or between on topic deep pages.

The saddest part for me is that you missed the single MOST IMPORTANT step in SEO. 100% quality keyword research and testing.

Would you suggest some links that look like a standard URL, while others that use the anchor "Click Here" or "Here"?

Absolutely Jump. The easiest way to spot an SEO'ed site is to see everyone linking to it with the same anchor text

To be honest, I never had thought about it like that before....It does make sense to use more natural "common" language is some cases. Even if it's not a good SEO technique, it is a good SEO technique.

I also think that a HUGE jump for any site, which can be done by anyone, is to add articles to places like wikihow , howtodothings and ehow. These websites are now hitting the top of many serps and one's site can really gain both real traffic as well as inbound links. A great way to jump start a new site once you have set up all your other "to dos".
