![]() | I have read article about Google removing the page rank and move toward the Page Rate System that allow people to vote your web site. Here is the link: http://www.anthonyjudelawrence.com/b...ogle-pagerate/ What is your comment about this? |

![]() ![]() | Why do people get so hungup on PR? Update will happen sometime. PR doesn't drive traffic to your site, it doesn't make sales, it doesn't even determine the position in the search listings. Keep building links to bring traffic (PR will follow sometime).

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I just hope that the guy in the above mentioned blog realizes that the story he commented on is a gag, not reality. It's a shame to see so many idiot webmasters in the world believe, when it is so painfully obvious, that the original story was a joke. I don't mean to be insensitive, but so many people are so quick to jump on the PR wagon when they don't even understand what PR truly is, or how it's used. I wish that I could convince everyone to stop for a moment and think about how much value PR truly adds to their sites, when so many sites rank better than their sites for certain keywords without any PR. PR isn't a good way to value a website. In fact, to webmasters, and to web searchers, it truly has little or no value. PR is a number that neither improves, nor brings profit....People spend so much time trying so hard to fool the search engines that they slack on the quality of their sites. There isn't millions of dollars to be made in adsense....And having a high PR doesn't guarantee any profits....Google has you under it's little finger, if they take away PR, then they take their power to control all the little idiots that believe that PR gives their site some sort of value. No offence intended. With that said, Google is smart, so PR is here to stay. |

![]() | You are really dead on JUMP. Sorry to say I find humor in the PR thing. (Not all share it.) PR will never effect your bottom line which for most is making money and getting traffic. Lot's of content, good SEO, good structure, and a true effort to have a quality site pays off. ![]() |

![]() | I think it is just a theory that google is scrapping the pr system and leads to link sales. Google is trying to find new ways on how to improved the page rank system and i have read article that they will moved to page rate system. |

| Senior Member | personally i see PR as a good part of marketing, many dont, but it is really going to hurt link sales companies and people who sell links on their own website, because lets face it, most prices are based on the PR value of your site, so i hope they dont scrap it, but being honest, i think they will do! |

![]() | I don't think it should be done on people voting for your site as that will be bias and false. It would be worse that how it's currently done as people will be asking for others to vote for their site just like they do on digg, stumble, etc.
