SEOVibe Junior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 53	MySql and phpBB - Wordpress etc. Many popular open source software applications require the use of a mysql database. I've read several posts on other forums (but not here, kudos) about not being able to instal on Yahoo! hosted plans. Heres the fix. - change the settings from 'localhost' to 'mysql'. it's that simple. Yahoo! doesn't allow localhost access. they don't mess with security!
