This is another simple one i'm sure.
As most of you know wordpress allows you to have several categories.
Links to each category generaly appear in the sidebar.
Clicking on those links takes you to an 'archive' page with many article titles and excerpts.
When an archive page fills up the "next" link appears at the bottom.
Clicking on the "Next" link takes you to the next archive page.
The uri changes, ie a "page/2" is added for the next page and so on.

What I'd like to accomplish
- The meta tag <title> to be appended with the page number just like with the uri.

Why? Because out of the box wordpress keeps the same title for ALL archive pages regardless of how many there are.

<title><?php if (is_archive()) { wp_title('',true); } else echo 'generic name'?></title>

How would the page number, as seen in the uri, be added to the title at the same time? Any help appreciated, I don't have the time to work this one out just yet.
