To keep in mind that darker websites depress people. THe best is a light blue or white to make people happy.

That is correct and they are an easier read. However, for this sports one I decided to go dark like www.adidas.com and www.nike.com . For reason youth athletes seem to like the "dark side".

Long story but it helps to work on what you love to do.
If I had to work on office supply websites all day I think I would blow my brains out. I learned to work on what I enjoy and it comes a lot easier.

Loved it until the flash loaded and pumped out some random sound....really doesn't suit your site IMHO. Loose the flash and shrink the header and you wont loose

Did that on the my other sites.
It made them look like all the others.
Wanted this one for the average consumer / youth player.
It will only feature a handful of products so it should work fine.
You're right though, if it was a big site with a lot of products that would help.

looks too much techno site ... not a sports site.

if you leave the header graphics ... none can recognise it as a soccer site.
