 |  Using blogs to promote your website Blogs are a great way to direct more traffic to an ecommerce website. These two artices (from blogs naturally) go over some of the benefits How to Use a Blog for Non-Diarists FileSlinger(TM) Backup Blog You can use free services such as wordress or have your own site with domain name. All depends on your budget or what suits you. What i don't know is how exactly do you direct traffic from the blog to the ecommerce website. Several methods are a banner at the top of the page, links in articles or a link in a fixed part of the blog. Can any one give-more ideas on how the blog can be linked to the website -examples of blogs that are linked to websites |

| Re: Using blogs to promote your website I think the idea your missing is to indirect bring traffic. Using the text links in a blog to highlight things in your site which Google they lists higher and indirectly brings more traffic.
