 |  Re: SEO for Keywords You can get results from SEO from the moment your site is spidered. Everytime a backlink is indexed (a page carrying your link), you get benefit. IN competitive areas, you can see quick success right away, coming from no where to the top 50 maybe. But the higher you get to number one, the harder it is exponentially. IE getting from 11 > 10 might take x effort, 10>9 might tax xxx effort, 9>8 xxxxxx effort. Competitive fields require a LOT of work. But if you are currently page two, then a couple of weeks should see some sort of movement, and I would say to get your goal of #1 (provided you know what you are doing ) should take 3-9 months, although it has taken me almost 2 YEARS to get my finance site ranking for its main phrases across the board  .
