The script of the directorycritic website makes reviewing the different services available, though i guess those numbers represent many prejudiced opinion.

| Re: looking for free lists!! Been doing some research into free directories. I've been adding sites to directories for about a year with varying results. The only prerequisite is that they are free. During this research I've also been logging the time from submission until listing, you may be interested in some of the results. You can find them at http://www.ahbsolutions.co.uk/iresources/directory.asp. Hope you find some of the information here useful. I'm still gathering information so the research is not yet complete, but feel free to browse what's already there.

| Re: looking for free lists!! I would totally disagree with this. From my somewhat limited knowledge (compared to the experts here) one way links are an excellent way to increase the PR. Of course, for me content will always be my main drive, but the one way links is something I have spent a lot of time on and believe in.
