I have not read your article as of yet so you may already mention this, but 3 major problems that I can think of straight away withing giving it much though is your website will be similar to others, people will be able to look at your scripts code and if they see a hole in the script, then your site may be hacked, if google wants to ban a certain type of site, then they are more likely to start banning the ones that use the same scripts as it's easier to quickly ban a load with the same scripts than the ones that use their own scripts, if someone wanted to copy your site, then they will be able to easily get access to your scripts, etc.

Whooops, that's 4 reasons.

We're using PowerSeek v.3 script from FocalMedia http://www.focalmedia.net

Among all these "Where Am I know?" PHP Directories, PowerSeek is the most advanced.
