Marie is on a distinguished road
Default Hello!

Hi, I'm Marie. I'm new to this forum, but I'm hoping that this will be a nice place to learn lots and to hopefully find some advice for how to make my websites work better.

I started a tutoring classifieds website about a year ago and I have about 100 visitors per day, which is okay to begin with. However, I really need to grow my site and to improve it. I started it as a fun project and not to make any money from it. It's been my Frankenstein ever since and I love watching it grow. However, I'm starting to realize I need to make the site profitable in order to afford advertising to get the word out and to help tutors on the site get more exposure. It's like pulling teeth for me since I had wanted to make it free all the time for everyone.

I'm slowly learning more about page rank, how to change my site into more of a business, and other things like link exchanges. If anyone can share any ideas or advice, I'd love to hear from you.

Cheers,
Marie

Hello Marie

Welcome aboard. Well I just started a new link bid directory myself. I'm not to sure what a tutoring classifieds entails, but what I've been doing is submitting to all the free links, and just building up my backlinks. I also am using search engines to pick an choose my strong key words in my catagory and summitting to bidding links that pull up under those key words. The name of my site is www.prmuscle.com please check it out and see what you think. Maybe we can share ideas.

Thanks

raphael
