Default FTP question

Does anyone know of a script where I could upload audio files to my server via a webpage (hosted on my site) and direct these files to password protected pages for my clients? I'm trying to stream line a process. Currently I post audio to my server via FTP (Dreamweaver), then create a link by hand. I didn't know if it was possible to upload a file to a specific location and automatically create the link. thanks for your time!

The web based ftp connection is possible. Please have a look at this resource page where you may find free and paid scripts as well. I think after uploading the files the URL of them should be clear, and you can solve the password protection using htpasswd file.

Bagi Zoltan is correct... you would need to open up a FTP connection in your php code. Once you have uploaded the file, have the php code write the link out for you.
