Default Double posting?

I think we have a rule where it state that we can't have a double posting in the thread? Well, when I have a thread which that I am really wanting to bump a thread badly. Even though, I have admit that I double posted twice so far of each month (even I hated to break the rule). But what I am thinking is to prevent a infections is if you'd allow us to double post, but only if it's 5 or 10 days old. Sometime we have created a important thread and noone reply in them, and that would make us wanting to make another duplicate thread so we could get some help in important thread.

The best way is to add some new information, that way you are not bumping the thread.
But beware if the time delay on this is small then use the edit feature.

You are allowed to bump your own thread after it has sat unresponded to for 7 days or longer. We'd rather see you bump your thread than to begin duplicate threads. It's best if you could do like Midi says, and add new information to the post. If you don't have new information, then please wait at least 7 days before bumping. If you are adding new information, don't create a new post (double post) until at least 6 hours have passed. If it has been less than 6 hours, then edit your original post.

I am glad we came on the same idea of rather any one to bump than making another duplicate thread for such waste of space on iWebTool.

if I see a rely that says 'bump' then I will most of the time delete the original thread. It of course depends on the forum guidelines, but most forums have a no bump (obvious bump) rule.

Yet.
Making duplicate thread take more space than double posting. So it'd be the best for someone to double post but only after 7 days. So, rather double posting and only take very little space off of it rather than take more space by making duplicate thread.

Rock on dude!!! Hate seems to be a mighty strong word...A lot of my close friends here at iwebtool double post, they just don't understand that it isn't acceptable. That's why Joshie is asking, because he obviously respects and understands that there are rules in this community. I don't hate Joshie, even though he has on more than one occasion double posted....In fact, I like him quite a lot....Bagi has been known to double post on occasion....I really like Bagi....So hate is a really strong word...Especially because, I myself have been guilty of double posting......Please don't be a hater.

Double poster....LOL.... My point about that was that even the best of the iWebToolers(Bagi) double post.....and though it is frowned upon, it is still in some ways okay, if you are an established member of the forum...So it's okay with me if Bagi double posts, because I like what he says.....For the rest of you, try me, I might like you too, but chances are, Iwon't..
