![]() | I am thinking about launching my webmaster forum very soon (once it's ready of course), and I don't want it to be dead all the time. So I have been thinking of some webmaster related marketing strategies, tell me what you think of them;
Now I know this could be pretty expensive for a while, but I personally think this would be a very clever and good way to tell people I am serious about my forum. And...at the same time, reap in some benefits for helping my forum grow. With AdSense and possibility for advertising revenue on my website, would you say this is a good or bad idea? Please comment on your answers, and thank you.

![]() | Sounds good, I have a new webmaster forum that I'm about to start advertising soon. You could also see about doing the adsense revenue sharing like this forum has, brilliant idea. |

![]() ![]() | Its good that you are considering actively promoting your forum with incentives. This should help it to get started, and hopefully the momentum will continue and the forum will grow when a number of serious contributors join, it could be expensive though. A word of concern though, I have in the past joined a number of webmaster orientated forums, and unfortunately not many of them survive, I hope yours is a success.

Well that is something I am worried about too, but I am going to try and get loads of promotion behind it. Within a year I would like to be one of the average webmaster forums at least, obviously DP, v7n and iWEBTOOL are way out of my league, but that isn't what I intend to beat (or not at least for many, many years to come ).

![]() | That was a very good idea and a good incentive for the users of your forum. |

![]() | Some good incentives. Have you considered paying some people to post who are knowledgeable about the topic? Anyway, good luck. |
