What is the going rate for a PR7 link?

I rarely buy or sell links, but I have bought a company (IT news company) and they have a PR7 across most of their pages. They are linked to by some heavy hitting sites, including a few thousand deep links from sites like the register, Oreily media, BBC, timesonline, and various government departments etc.

So what would be the going rate for say front page links and also contextual links across the site?

I am just looking at this as a toe in the water exercise really. Obviously as the site is a high quality site I am not about to allow crap links on there, but it is IT related so hosting and design/seo would be an ideal match. anything that is IT or web related really.

Well, OWG, it really depends....If you are selling the link to somebody(besides me), then it might be worth in the hundreds of dollars per month....If you are selling it to me, then a discount would be appropriate...I'd say $5.00 a month.....What do you say? LOL.....

In reality, a good PR7 link would be worth at least $200.00 per month.....And if it belongs to you, then I would have to guess that it is a good link...And worth every penny of that, if not much more.

Not ready to release details yet as the contracts haven't been signed, but the sale has been agreed. As soon as we complete then I will let everyone know.
