The idea is quite unique at least i have never seen any similar site yet. I would suggest you to place the searching input form closer to the guidline text in order to accelerate the site navigation.

You have a simple design and I think it is similar to yahoo answer. I suggested that you need to add more features and content for your site. I observed also that your site is not optimize and you need to promote it via forums.

Cool site, few comments;

1/ Alot of the Avatar images looked very pixelated, I would either resize or improve the avatar image quality.
2/ I agree that the homepage needs some content to hook the visitor and give them a feel for the lower level content.
3/ I agree that the search form needs to be at the top of the page.

Hmmm... interesting idea. I think the search needs to be more sophisticated - could you search by country and by Q or A. I tried Guitar and found lot of quesitions but no answers. And things like "where can I buy a guitar in Chenai?" I din't find it immediately useful (but to be fair I didn't spend long on it).
I like the clean and simple look... but I didn't like the lo-res cartoon-like avatars.

I'm not original))))The idea of the site is very interesting. You should only work on the design: logo, header, content, welcome word. It's needed. Most people firt pay attention to the appearance of the site but then to its content.
