![]() ![]() ![]() | RANT Every so often I can't find the thread I posted in because the thread is not in the logical place, or there are multiple logical places. So I go search on my name, but then I get the annoying search flood control come up. Can the flood control be removed or reduced it quite annoying when you can't find what you want. RANT over

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I know that you are a strong poster in the forum, but have you tried clicking on your user CP to see if you can find your threads that way? I post a lot, and sometimes I have a hard time relocating the threads that I find the most important, so when that occurs, I click on my user CP to find the thread.....Does that help? |

I tried to find the post I'd made, first by clicked on my User CP, then 'Find all posts by Chart Music' and found that it's not listed in either. Then I used the search resulting in the flood control message, but even after I waite the search does not find the thread. Eventually I tracked it down manually. The thread is in the wrong forum I think. And the search ignored all topics in the 'general talk' perhaps? Either way it's not pretty.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hmm, that is strange. I wonder if maybe the thread was moved to a different forum, and when that happened, it automatically deletes your subscription to that thread? I don't know. Does it happen on alot of your threads, or just a few? |

![]() ![]() ![]() | ah, an apology, as now found it on the subscription list. Not on the find posts or search however. It's only that one thread so far as I can tell.
